At Avalon Malibu, we believe in a holistic approach. This means that we encourage our clients to think about both their mental and physical health, which often includes healthy activities. In this blog, we’re going to go over some of the top healthy activities that are perfect to do during the spring.
Healthy Activities to Consider
Let’s go over some healthy activities that are perfect for this season. As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to our Avalon Malibu team if you have further questions.
Climbing
If you’re looking for a full-body workout, then rock climbing could be the perfect solution. Getting outside and doing some rock climbing in the sun can be a great way to soak up some rays while also building muscle. If you’re going to be climbing, make sure that you’re staying safe and following best practices that reduce risk.
Walking Meditations
Have you ever heard of a walking meditation? Doing a walking meditation is a great way to exercise your body and relax your mind. Consider looking up a walking meditation on YouTube or downloading an app that will walk you through the meditation process.
If you’re not a fan of walking meditations, consider starting with meditation for two or three minutes at home. This can be a great way to work up to a longer meditation.
Try a New Smoothie Recipe
We strongly believe in the importance of nutrition. If you haven’t tried a new smoothie lately, now is the perfect time to! Consider looking up some smoothie recipes online or going to the store and picking out some ingredients that look delicious.
Smoothies are a great way to get needed nutrients while still enjoying your meal. If you don’t have a blender or other supplies that you need to make a smoothie, consider finding a frozen option that you can easily have in your freezer for times when you want a delicious smoothie.
